HEADMISTRESS SNEAKS INTO SCHOOL PREMISES IN THE NIGHT TO STEAL 200,000 NAIRA
The Headmistress of a private school, Parents Pride, in Olambe area of Ogun State, identified as Mrs Akinleye has been exposed after she reportedly sneaked into the school premises during late hours and stole 200,000 naira from the school safe.
Residents of the area who remained anonymous said they had seen Akinleye sneak in disguising in hijab regalia.
According to a closed source who spoke with hotjist.com, the headmistress had been suspended from her office due to allegation of embezzlement and corruption as she was said to have siphoned the school’s finances into her personal account and a junior staff was put in her place.
A week later, a substantial amount was generated and kept in the office pending the time it would be transferred into the school’s bank account as the norm in the school.
But on the said night, the suspended headmistress who had a spear key to the school gate, allegedly broke into one of offices. She then opened the back door and a part of the school gate to make it appear as if the school was not properly locked.
After the police investigation and some witness reports, the suspect came to confess to the crime and returned 130,00 out of the stolen amount.
