Etebo Delighted To Be Fit Again, Back In Action
Etebo played for 76 minutes as Stoke City forced Nottingham Forest to an enthralling away goalless draw in their English Championship match at the City Ground on Saturday.
He was replaced by Sam Clucas who was making his debut for the club after a knee surgery kept him out of action for six months.
“Good point away from home. Glad to be back fit getting some minutes,” Etebo tweeted.
Prior to Stoke’s clash against Middlesbrough on November 3, Etebo had missed their previous three games due to injury.
The game was Etebo’s 12th in the English Championship for the Potters since he arrived from CD Feirense of Portugal.
Stoke City are now unbeaten in six away games and they occupy the 14th position with 22 points from 17 English Championship games.
Etebo is one of the three midfielders called up by Gernot Rohr for Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier against South Africa in Johannesburg this Saturday, and he is expected in camp on Tuesday.
