NINE YEAR OLD KILLED CRUSHED TO DEATH AFTER A 34-INCH TV SET FELL ON HIM
A nine-year-old boy, Kwame Asamoah, has been reported dead after his family’s 34-inch analogue television fell on him on Sunday morning, while he was sleeping and crushed him to death.
Asamoah was said to be sleeping in the same room with his parents and younger siblings at their house located at Nsuaem in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region in Ghana, when the incident happened, reports Adomonline.
Describing how the incident happened, Asamoah’s father, Kofi Kennedy, said the boy who was sleeping on the floor had hit the table bearing the TV, while, he was changing his sleeping position.
The TV, according to the father, slipped from the table and fell on him, crushing him to death.
