75 YEAR-OLD ONWORDI REVEALS HOW HIS FIRST SON, TONI KAN WAS BORN IN A LIBRARY; SHARES THE SECRET OF HIS LONG LIFE

75-year-old, Louis Zulu Onwordi has revealed how his first son, a renowned Nigerian writer, editor, public relations senior management executive, and teacher., Toni Kan was literarily “born in the midst of books”.

Onwordi who dropped this revelation while sharing his life lessons during his 75th birthday celebration in Lagos on Saturday explained how he used to trek several miles to get himself educated.

Onwordi who has six children and 10 grandchildren said, “I am satisfied…roof over my head, food at my table and a beautiful family, what else do I want?

“I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I was born a poor church rat”.

He added that, giving his children quality education, “not expecting too much from people”, impacting other peoples’ lives are some of the reasons he has had a peaceful and healthy living and a fulfilled life.

Some of the well-wishers, friends, and families who also spoke at the event, shared their love for the celebrant; “you treated us firmly and we are very grateful to you. You have lived a good life. You are looking healthy because you fail to harbor grudges in your heart…”Doctor Ofoli said.

Onwordi’s best friend Doctor Chijide, who is 78-year-old, said about him, “He is a living legend. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. We call him the master.”
