SENATOR AHMED ARUWA DIES @ 75
A prominent politician, farmer, sportsman and former senator, Ahmed Aruwa, died at age 75.
Family sources said the politician died in the early hours of Sunday, and he had been buried according to Islamic rites on Sunday afternoon at Sultan Bello mosque.
Mr Aruwa, who holds the title of Walin Hadejia, represented Kaduna Central in the Senate between 1999 and 2007.
When in the Senate, he was on the committees on Senate Services, Aviation, Works & Housing, Police Affairs, Agriculture and Finance & Appropriation.
