BREAKING: OAU ‘SEX-FOR-MARK-LECTURER’ PLEADS GUILTY
Former lecturer in the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Prof. Richard Iyiola Akindele, who was dragged to court for demanding sex to pass one of his students, Monica Osagie, has on Monday, changed his plea from ‘not guilty’ to ‘guilty.’
According to the prosecutor, Mr. Shogunle Adenekan, all parties in the matter had reached an agreement and pleaded for a suspended sentence for the accused.
The matter was stood down for one hour.
