Champions League Draw: Liverpool, Tottenham, Man City, Man United Handed Tricky Ties
English Premier League clubs; Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United have been drawn against tough opponents in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
Last seasons finalists, Liverpool will take on German champions Bayern Munich, while reigning Premier League champions Manchester City face Schalke and Tottenham take on Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester United were handed a tough draw, to face top French Ligue club Paris St Germain as they look to secure a spot in the UCL quarter-finals.
Manchester United haven’t lost against French opposition in European competition since November 2005 when they lost 1-0 at home to Lille. They have won six and drawing two since.
Champions League, Real Madrid were handed a tricky tie against Ajax while Atletico Madrid will face Juventus for a place in the quarter-finals. French side, Olympique Lyonnais will host Barcelona in the first leg of their round of 16 ties while AS Roma will take on FC Porto.
The Champions League Round of 16 first legs will take place on February 12-13 and 19-20, with the return legs schedhled for March 5-6 and 12-13.
