Ndidi, Iheanacho Manager Puel Faces Sack At Leicester City

Nigerian duo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho may play under a new manager at Leicester City very soon with current handler of the side, Claude
Puel facing a battle against the sack.

The team’s display in the busy Christmas schedule according to a report in Daily Mail will determine Puel’s future at the club.

The Foxes will face Chelsea today (Saturday )at the Stamford Bridge before hosting champions Manchester City on Boxing Day and Cardiff City on December 29.

Puel fought back from the brink of dismissal at the end of last season by beating Arsenal but the deep problems of his reign have persisted.
According to the report, the Frenchman relationship with his players and staff has deteriorated to an all-time low. There are also issues over selections, style, and communication. There are allegations he has ‘lost everyone’.
Multiple sources have also informed Daily mail that Puel cuts an isolated figure, declining to act on the advice of colleagues regarding training performances or fitness issues, and causing widespread disillusionment in a repeat of his Southampton reign.
Supporters have also been frustrated with style of play, as Puel advocates a slower build-up of attack which has affected the performance of top striker, Jamie Vardy who thrives on quick balls.
The club’s hierarchy are rumoured to be flirting with the idea of replacing him with either Brendan Rodgers or Rafa Benitez.
