This coming Saturday (29 December) sees the 25^thround of games in the EFL Championship – English domestic football’s second tier – take place. Current league leaders Leeds host Hull, while Norwich welcome Derby County to Carrow Road in what looks to be the tie of the round, and Sheffield United host an out of sorts Blackburn Rovers.

Derby, by way of comparison, are in good form themselves under rookie boss Frank Lampard and are fifth in the table. A win here could take them as high as third, depending on how other results go.
