Ndidi Set To Make 70th EPL Appearance For Leicester City
Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is set to make his 70th appearance in the English Premier League on Saturday when the Foxes host Cardiff City at the King Power stadium.
Ndidi joined the Foxes from Belgian top division side, KRC Genk in January 2017 has become a key player for Leicester City, starting 68 of the 69 games he has played for the club in the Premier League since he made his debut on January 14, 2017 in the Foxes’ 3-0 loss to Chelsea.
The 22 year old Nigerian international will be seeking to make his 19th start in 20 appearances for Leicester City this term and possibly add to his only goal he has scored this season.
The Nigerian starred in the back-to-back wins against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend and Manchester City on Boxing Day.
Ndidi and his Leicester City teammates will be aiming to make it three wins in a row against Cardiff City.
A win will give him his 27th win in the premier league in 70 games.
Ndidi has been yellow carded 10 times and got the marching order twice since he arrived at the club.
He is currently ranked the 24th best passer in the English Premier League after 19 matches. He has made 967 successful passes so far this term.
