Joseph Omoniyi
Hollywood legendary actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger earned $21,429 per every word of dialogue said in the movie, “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”.
He pocketed a total of $85,716 for saying “Hasta la vista, baby?” in one of the scenes of the movie and a grand total of $15 million dollar salary for a total of seven hundred words dialogue.
Arnold Had worked with guns every day for a month to prepare for his role. For the first two weeks, he was said to have practised weapon stripping and reassembly blindfolded until the motions were automatic, like a machine.
He spent hours at the shooting range and practising with different weapons without blinking or looking at them when loading or cocking.
He practised different moves up to 50 times. He wound up garnering a compliment in “Soldier of Fortune” magazine for his realistic handling of the guns on camera. The magazines had earlier criticised movies for inaccurate depictions of weapons use.
