FORMER SUPER EAGLES PLAYER AND WOLVES COACH, OLOFINJANA SAYS CAF WAS RIGHT TO SNUB NIGERIAN PLAYERS FROM BEST 11
Former Super Eagles Midfielder Seyi George Olofinjana has voiced his opinion on the omission of Nigeria players from the recent CAF’s Africa best 11 players saying no Super Eagles player deserve a place on the list.
However many fans and pundits believe the decision to leave out the every Super Eagles players out was strange but Olofinjana is of the opinion that none of the current Super Eagles players should be in the team.
Olofinjana speaking to Brila fm “I’m sorry to say, None of the current players in the Super Eagles squad deserve a place in that Line up by CAF.
“I suppose we leave the list as it is, the former Hull and Stoke City player added.
Seyi Olofinjana began his career with local sides Crown and Kwara United before moving to Europe with Norwegian side SK Brann. After two seasons at Brann, he moved to English club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The former Super Eagles Midfield enforcer is currently the coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ (B) team and also doubles as the Loans & Pathway Manager for the EPL outfit.
