JUST IN: EX-INEC OFFICIALS FOUND GUILTY OF MONEY LAUNDERING
A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi has found two former officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kwara State guilty of money laundering.
Justice Mohammed Idris found Mr Christian Nwosu and Tijani Bashir guilty of nine counts bordering on money laundering to the tune of N264, 880,000.
He consequently adjourned the case till Friday for sentencing.
However, one of the accused persons, Nwosu, was absent in court.
