CRISTIANO RONALDO WANTS TO PLAY WITH JAMES RODRIGUEZ AT JUVE

Read Time:1 Minute, 20 Second

Cristiano Ronaldo has called James Rodriguez in an attempt to convince the Colombian to join him at Juventus this summer.

The two were teammates at Real Madrid and Ronaldo seems keen for Rodriguez to move away from his former club and join him in Turin.
James is reaching the end of his two-year loan spell with Bayern Munich and seems to have plenty of potential suitors if his transfer is not made permanent.
the Portuguese had mentioned Rodriguez in an interview in December when he was asked if he would Marcelo or Isco at Juventus.

“I see that they write about James, (Gareth) Bale, (Marco) Asensio but, honestly, Juventus does not need any player,” he said

“You should ask the president.

“Marcelo is strong, we would open the door to good players

and Marcelo is one of those,” he stated.

Not a single praise of James, but instead to Paulo Dybala, a

player with the same characteristics as the Bayern Munich

player.

Now, with this call known, Cristiano’s strategy of denying

James at that moment to not cause a fuss becomes clearer.

He said one thing publicly but is thinking something different

– he wants James at Juventus.

On the Colombian’s part, he has already let Bayern know

that he does not want to continue beyond the summer, even

though the Bavarians have the option to buy him outright

from  Real Madrid.

The preference of Rodriguez would be to move back to Los

Blancos but, with Ronaldo talking up Juventus, his thoughts

may be swayed.
