Nigerian celebrity artiste, D’Banj while performing, in an unscripted manner, gave a young man, identified as David Joseph, among the cheerers, an opportunity to use the mic for 1 minute and the stage suddenly became a talent hunt platform, as the unknown guy dazzled not just the massive crowd but also the Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, who immediately gifted him with N2.5 million and handed him over to D’Banj for a mentorship programme.
The Governor said this is to show all Nigerian Lagos youths that, Lagos is a place that provides opportunity for every young person to shine.
