EVERTON 0-2 MAN CITY: CITY TURN UP THE HEAT ON LIVERPOOL AS THEY CLIMB TO THE TOP OF THE EPL

Manchester City look set to do a repeat of their 2011/2012 English premier League campaign when they dragged the race to the final game of the season, beating city rival, Manchster with a goal difference, thanks to Sergio Aguero’s injury time’s stunner.
Manchester City scored one goal each in both halves against Everton on Wednesday night as they dropped Liverpool to the second place of the EPL. Larporte scored late in the first stanza of the game, while Gabriel Jesus sealed the game with a header in the final minutes of the second half.
Although, second place, Liverpool played a game less, City has now increased the pressure on the reds who could have had a-10-point-lead about a month ago.
City’s coach Pep Guardiola wasted no time in expressing his delight as league leaders at the moment. He made it clear that it feels good to go to sleep as number one on the table.
Despite loosing just a game so far this season, Klopp’s men have had just too many draws in games that gave them better chances of dominating the league summit. They can however reclaim the topspot if they win their match against Bournemouth on Saturday.
