Following their home win against Nigeria Tornadoes on Sunday the 9th of February, 2019, MFM FC retain their leadership position in group A of the Nigerian Professional League, NPFL with 15 points after playing 7 matches while, FC Ifeanyi Ubah lead Group B after match day 9 with 15 points out of 8 games played.
In group A, Enyimba are behind MFM FC in second position followed by Katsina United in third. Rivers are 4th as Niger Tornadoes sit at the bottom of the table.
Group B has El-Kanemi chasing FC Ifeanyi Ubah with the same number of points. Heartland FC with 13 points hold number 3 spot on the log. Kada FC lead from the rear.
