Joseph Omoniyi
As more results of the presidential election from each state are being read out by Collation officers and Returning officers of INEC at the Abuja Collation Centre, Atiku Abubakar had the highest number of votes in Ondo; 276,201 as against President Buhari’s 241=769 votes.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari again beat Atiku in Kogi State, with a total number of 285,894 votes. Atiku had 218,207.
The announcement of the Ondo results was halted after the Collation officer, Professor Toyin Akeju appeared to be confused with the figures of some parties. He thereby requested for more lights and a long enough ruler.
