After the collation of presidential election results from 26 states including the FCT by INEC, incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is still at the forefront, winning in 14 states, with 8,495,394
Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Atiku Abubakar who is a former vice-president, so far has polled a total number of 6,490,737 votes, having won in 12 states, including the FCT.
Meanwhile INEC has gone on recess, to reconvene by 8:30pm
