One of the top-selling recording artists, R.Kelly has regained his freedom from the County Prison in Chicago after he had appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to all 10 counts of serious sexual abuse.
R.Kelly was made to pay 10% of his $1 million bail on Monday before his release.
As he was walking out of jail in his blue down coat, there was total uproar from reporters who were trying to squeeze words from his mouth.
Some protesters seems to be shouting at him, calling him a pedophile and asking him how he would feel if someone urinated on his daughter – in a polite way.
Sources in Kelly’s camp reveals that he paid the bond pledge with a bank cashier’s check to avoid having issues with his check clearing
Although Kelly has been freed from jail, yet he has to pay about $160K child support to his ex-wife, Drea Kelly by March 6 or else he will be locked up again.
The sources says R.Kelly has concluded arrangements to pay the child support by next week, so he can focus on his criminal defense and avoid jail.
