PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: IF ATIKU GOES TO COURT, WE’LL FILE A CROSS-PETITION – OSHIOMOLE

Following the opposition party, PDP’s refusal to concede defeat and congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari, after he emerged as the winner of the last presidential election, Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomole has said that if the defeated PDP candidate,Atiku Abubakar makes any attempt to head to court, his party is ready to file a counter petition.
Oshiomole made known In a world press conference by APC, held on Thursday in Abuja.
Oshiomole stated that, there are records which showed that the PDP perpetrated a lot of election malpractises and engaged in manipulations in many states during the last elections.
He said despite the fact that there were some elements of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC that connived with the PDP in order to inflate voting figures as they did in the 2015 elections in some states, his party candidate, Muhammadu Buhari came out victorious.
