Bayer Munich have announced that Serge Gnabry has extended his contract with the club till 2023.
The 23-year-old German winger came through the ranks at Premier League side Arsenal before moving on to Werder Bremen in 2016.
After a season in which he scored 11 goals in 27 appearances, Bayern Munich have snapped up his services for a reported fee of €8 million.
Last season he was loaned to 1899 Hoffenheim and continued his fine form with 10 goals from 26 appearances.
Gnabry, who has scored eight goals in 29 games this season, has now extended his contract with Bayern until 2023.
“I feel very, very well here and it’s a lot of fun with the team,” says Gnabry. “Of course, I hope for many titles and great moments – and look forward to a good future with Bayern.”
“Personally, I am currently doing very well in games, but I know that I still have potential and need to develop further.”
