SUNSHINE MANAGEMENT UPHOLDS CONFIDENCE IN COACH DOGO AND TEAM

The management of Sunshine Stars FC are upbeat the Akure Landlords will come out of their recent struggles in the ongoing 2018/19 Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Following the week 11 draw at home with Enyimba, Club President Otunba Tajudeen Akinyemi, Director, Prince Tunde Ogunja and Board Member, Mr. Sunday Aladenika met with the team Monday, and reaffirmed their believe in the group’s quality.
The management expressed optimism the coach Kabiru Dogo tutored boys have the quality to turn things around in subsequent matches while admonishing the team to raise the bar in the final third.
“The results of late are not satisfactory, but we know Dogo is a good coach with unblemished record and the team play nicely, but try put more efforts in attack so we can get the goals to win.
“You guys can go out and beat any team anywhere, we belive you can do it because the quality is there. You have our support as always to achieve this.” The Board jointly submitted.
Both coach Dogo and the players who all took turn to speak during the meeting at team’s camp assured the management and fans of improved effort to ensure positive results in the next couple of games.
Sunshine Stars who are third on the Group A log with 13 points next visit Enugu for a rescheduled match day three with Rangers on Thursday.
