MUSA DELIVERS PROMISE; PAYS U-23 PLAYERS 4M FOR DEFEATING LIBYA

Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa has fulfilled his promised by gifting the Nigeria’s U-23 team N4M for their win against their Libyan counterparts in the CAF U-23 Qualifier.
The Media officer of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye confirmed the development after the Imama-led team thrashed Libya 4-0 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Delta state on Monday.
The Imama Amapakabo tutored team lost the first leg 2-0 last week and remarkable comeback is needed if they are to reach the CAF U-23 AFCON in Egypt, which is the qualifier for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.
In a bid to motivate the team, Musa who visited the team on Saturday, promised to pay the boys a million naira for each goal scored against the Libyans.
