BOXOFFICE: “AVENGERS: ENDGAME” BECOMES THE FASTEST FILM TO CROSS THE $2B MARK WORLDWIDE

Just in its second week, Disney’s “Avengers: Endgame” has beaten 1997 Titanic to become the 2nd highest grossing movie of all time with $2.188 billion, becoming the fastest to reach that mark.
It took the movie just 11 days for the movie to surpass the previous record-holder for the quickest film to $2 billion. It took “Avatar”47 days to reach that benchmark.
The tentpole has earned $620 million at the domestic box office, becoming the 9th biggest title ever in North America. Overseas, “Endgame” has amassed a monster $1.56 billion, with $575 million of that bounty coming from China.
