Veteran Nigerian galala singer, Daddy Showkey slammed Naira Marley, says his bad-manners resulted to his arrest by men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC).
Daddy Showkey on his Instagram page @daddyshowkey, explained that he intentionally decided not to react to the arrest and the alleged involvement of Ruggedman in masterminding the arrest because he did not support the idea of a small child (Naira Marley) insulting someone that is older than him (Ruggedman), especially when the older person is right.
Daddy Showkey said, the fact that he was nurtured in the street does not suggests that he will encourage his child or any young person to make the same mistakes he made. Adding that he believes Naira Marley made the disrespectful comments under the influence of a substance he smoked.
The EFCC had earlier said that it would charge Naira Marley to court because there is sufficient proof of him having connections with cybercrime.
Recall that, Naira Marley who has been an active supporter of cybercrime popularly called Yahoo Yahoo, was arrested alongside Zlatana Ibile, Rahman Jago and two others. However, Zlatan Ibile and Rahman Jago have since been released on Tuesday, May 14 night as Naira Marley continues to remain in EFCC custody.
