Lobi Stars coach, Solomon Ogbeide died of reported low blood pressure yesterday, Monday, after he slumped and passed on immediately.

One of Ogbeideā€™s players while at Warri Wolves, Dosu John paying tribute to the NPFL holding champions coach said, ā€œI am surprised. To me Ogbeide was not a just a coach, he was a father, this is a big blow to Nigeria footballā€.

ā€œSaw him in Ilorin last 2 weeks Strong and happy May his soul rest on, we chatted for 20 Minutes.

ā€œWe spoke about Naija footy and he said itā€™s getting betterā€¦RIP Babaā€, a former coach of NPFL side Abia Warriors Henry Makinwa also wrote on Facebook.

Ogbeide won the NPFL trophy with Lobi last season.
