SANWO-OLU CHARGES PUBLIC WORKS CORPORATION TO ENSURE ROADS ARE MOTORABLE DURING RAINY SEASON

The Administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has charged the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC), the unit saddled with the responsibility of maintaining and rehabilitating roads and drainages in the state to ensure all our roads are motorable by continuously embarking on palliative works till the rain subsides.
This was made known by the cooperation in a communication made available to hotjist.com.
According to LSWPC’s Head of Public Affairs Unit, Abayomi Oladapo the Governor has repositioned the Lagos State Public Works Corporation to take the road maintenance and rehabilitation to the next level.
He said, “remember the rains are here, yet we are committed to We shall also take advantage of the good weather at any given time to quickly fix all potholes in major highways and road networks.
“We are also appealing to Lagosians to partner with the government in curbing flooding by desisting from indiscriminate dumping of refuse in the drainages. Let us dispose of our refuse appropriately. Igbega lpinle Eko, Ajumose Gbogbo Wa Ni”
