AFCON2019: 0-0: CLASH OF THE TITANS ENDS IN A POINT OF PEACE
Joseph Omoniyi
An all-stars match between The Indomitable Lions of Cameroun and The Black Stars of Ghana ended in a downcasting draw as both teams shared points to give Guinea-Bissau and Benin republic chances of qualifying at the expense of these two big names.
Ghana who were held to a 2-2 draw in their opening game against Benin now have 2 points after 2 games, while Cameroun who lead the Group F log boast of 4.
This result has thrown open the group for anyone to still make it to the knockout stage despite pundits predicting easy-cruising for the big team before the tournament.
Later tonight, Benin who are on 1 point face Guinea-Bissau. A win for either sides will send them above the blackstars.
Meanwhile, Asamoah Gyan played in his 7th AFCON after coming up as a second half subtitute for Ghana.
