GHANA, CAMEROUN, BENIN THROUGH TO SECOND ROUND; SOUTH AFRICA NEED MALI TO BEAT ANGOLA

The Blackstars of Ghana advanced into the knockout stage of the African Cup Of Nations, AFCON 2019 after they beat Guinea-Bissau 2-nil this Tuesday.
Ghana who had struggled in their first two games of the competition, with draws, 2-2 against Benin republic and 0-0 against Cameroun, qualified as group winners with 5 points and four goals, leaving the indomitable lions who played a goalless draw in their last game against the squirrels, to second place on goal difference.
Benin also made it to the last 16 as one of the best losers.
