Ruga settlement project that has increased the tribal tension in the country has been suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The project started trending on social media last weekend, has attracted reactions from some governors, social groups, and renowned individuals was suspended this afternoon.
The statement reads, after consultations with stakeholders the president has resolved to put away the idea for a thorough review and well acceptable approach to the menace constituted to national security by the constant clashes between herdsmen and farmers.
