RIYARD MAHREZ’ LAST MINUTE FREEKICK STOPS NIGERIA FROM MAKING IT INTO FINAL
An incredibly curled in freekick from manchester City winger, riyard Mahrez was what it took to deny Nigeria from heading into the final of the African Cup of Nations in Egypt, as the Algerian’s last minute wonder sealed a 2-1 win for the North African sides against the Super Eagles in the second semi-final.
Algeria will now battle Senegal who beat Tunisia in the first semi final tie, in the final of the competion on Friday, while Nigeria will be condemned to fight for a third place finish against Tunisia on Wednesday.
