JUST IN: ARSENAL TARGET, ZAHA TELLS CRYSTAL PALACE HE WANTS TO LEAVE
Joseph Omoniyi
Arsenal target has reportedly informed his current club, Crystal Palace that he wants to leave after returning from the African Cup Of Nations, AFCON.
Palace had rejected a £40M bid from the London club and they are expected to push again in coming days.
Unai Emery has openly indicated Zaha is a number one target for him after Palace beat the Gunners 3-2 in April.
Unai Emery has wanted to sign Zaha since he scored in Palace’s 3-2 win at the Emirates in April and he is the Gunners’ number one transfer target this summer.
However, Eagles boss Roy Hodgson made it clear earlier this week a deal with Arsenal for Zaha is a long way off, saying: “I don’t think Arsenal have actually made a bid that has come anywhere near our valuation.
