The Desert Foxes of Algeria have been crowned the champions of Africa after edging passed Senegal with a 1-nil win on Friday.
Striker, Bounedjah put the Algerians ahead right in the 2nd minute of the game, after his deflected shot went passed the Senegalese goalie, Gomez.
Senegal fought hard to get back into the game and when it seemed their hard work had paid off, they were denied a penelty by the VAR. They had 12 shots on goal as against the Algerians’ 2.
The Champions goalkeeper, Mbolhi was named The Man Of The match after putting up an incredible performance on the night.
