‘YOU ARE REAPING WHAT YOU SOWED’ RENO OMOKRI BLASTS SOYINKA AFTER POLICE SEALED OFF VENUE WHERE HE WAS TO SPEAK ON INSECURITY
Reno Omokri, media aide to the former president, Goodluck Jonathan has slammed Nigerian Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka the police barricaded a venue where he was supposed to speak on insecurity in the country.
Reno Omokri who took to his social media pages to address the report said Soyinka created part of the problem that Nigeria is currently being faced with and should therefore enjoy the ‘consequential music’
He had condemned the action of the security operatives blaming it on President Muhammadu Buhari for ignoring the Herdsmen who ‘STEAL, KILL and DESTROY, held a meeting in Zamfara to explain why they decided to kill 50 Nigerian citizens for every herdsman that they claimed was killed…’ He said Buhari did not shut down the venue. But he shuts the venue of a meeting where Wole Soyinka was to talk about insecurity in Nigeria. Can you imagine that! Anyway, Soyinka’s is reaping what he sowed’.
He further wrote;
Wole Soyinka co-created the Frankenstein monster that General Buhari has become with his ‘anyone but Jonathan’ mantra. Now Jonathan is OUT of POWER and Soyinka is OUT of FREEDOM and he wants us to come OUT on the streets? No. Enjoy the monster you created. Look at him calling for a State of Emergency in the Southwest. What was Soyinka expecting from Buhari before? I am disappointed that a Professor who is a Nobel Laureate expected a man of doubtful school certificate to be his messiah.
