
FIFTY-ONE EIYE CONFRATERNITY MEMBERS ARRESTED DURING ANNIVERSARY

The police in Delta State have arrested fifty-one Eiye confraternity members arrested while celebrating ’15/6′ which happens to be their annual anniversary.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe, said that “there has been cult related killings in Ogwashi-Uku for some time now, so the command has been on the lookout.”
Also, in another incidence, an eighty-year-old man; was with 114 rounds of live cartridges while another woman was arrested with 6 locally made guns hidden in an umbrella.
Edafe added that the suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
