RINGS AS TINUBU AND OYETOLA ARE SUPPORTED BY SINGER PORTABLE

Following the controversial hip-hop artist Portable’s endorsement of Governor Gboyega Oyetola ahead of the July 18 governorship election in Osun State, Nigerians on Wednesday criticized the politician harshly.
The musician urged Nigerians to support the party’s presidential nominee, Bola Tinubu, in the upcoming presidential election while also promoting Oyetola’s reelection effort.
Portable exhorted his Osun fans in a video he shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday to vote for the governor, who was seated next to him.
Portable said, “4+4, Akoi Oyetola, my father is here,” in Yoruba.
“Nigerians, you all should agree for Tinubu, so that things can go well,” he continued.
The singer was also seen showing off money allegedly given to him after visiting the governor.
But reacting to the post on Wednesday, Nigerians on the microblogging site, Twitter, alleged that the governor was giving out taxpayers’ money to in his “desperate bid” to be reelected.
