The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has revealed that he is still friends with his primary adversary and All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

This was said by Atiku during an exclusive interview with Arise TV, which aired on Friday morning.

When asked about his friendship with Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, Atiku stated that despite their political differences, they remain friends.

“I’m still his friend, and being friends with him doesn’t mean we can’t disagree on politics,” Atiku remarked.

When asked about the potential threat of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to his presidential ambitions in 2023, Atiku emphasized that social media presence and acceptability will not win him (Obi) election.

Despite the social media craze and acceptance of Obi’s candidacy, he observed that the LP does not have representatives in administration or the National Assembly.

“The Labour Party does not have a government in any state, nor does it have a representative in the National Assembly.” Peter Obi is not a danger. On social media, they claimed to have 1 million votes in Osun.

Meanwhile, 90 percent of voters do not vote on social media, according to Atiku.

“I have always opposed Muslim-Muslim ticket. There is a need to balance things, whether religion or something else,” Atiku said.
