BBNAIJA FIRST-EVER DOCUMENTARY TO PREMIERE

This week will see the release of the first Big Brother Naija documentary.
On Saturday, August 13, 2022, the mini-documentary BBNaija: the Fame, the Fans, the Frenzy, produced by ID Africa’s The Bang Studio, will have its television debut on Africa Magic Showcase.
With BBNaija: The Fame, the Fans, the Frenzy, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the biggest reality TV program in Africa and learn some surprising production-related facts.
It includes some of the most well-liked housemates from the program, including Ozo, Laycon, Nengi, Prince, Alex Asogwa, Bisola Aiyeola, and Mercy Eke.
BBN: The Fame, the Fans, the Frenzy features visits from the cast of the show as well as analyses its influence from the perspectives of key stakeholders, the cast and producers of the program, which has expanded to become the largest Big Brother franchise worldwide.
Femi Falodun, Chief Executive Officer of ID Africa, notes that since the program is an African pop-culture phenomenon, it was important to convey its tale.
“At ID Africa, we love to tell untold tales, and what better tale to tell than that of the largest Big Brother episode in the franchise’s history?” he said.
The show received over a billion votes from millions of viewers during the most recent season alone, which has just ended. Additionally, it was viewed in more than 30 other nations worldwide.
I’m overjoyed that we can discuss the history of this program’s creation and how significantly it affects its participants’ lives.
Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, expressed her delight for the debut of BBN: The Fame, the Fans, the Frenzy as well.
“We’ve worked so hard in the background for years to make Big Brother Naija a success,” she stated. So it’s quite amazing to see how masterfully the tale of how the show comes together each year is portrayed.
Fans will learn from the documentary just how much labor goes into producing the concert each year.
BBN: The Fame, the Fans, the Frenzy will debut on Africa Magic Showcase on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 2 p.m. (DStv Ch. 151).
On Monday, August 15 at noon and on Thursday, August 25, at 3:30 pm, it will be rebroadcast on the channel.
On Thursday, August 18, at 12 p.m. and Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. and 3:10 p.m., the documentary will also air on Africa Magic Urban.
Additionally, repeat broadcasts will be made on Thursday, August 25 at 5:30 pm and Sunday, August 21 at 3:30 pm.
The documentary will also be available to DStv customers for free on the go through the DStv app on various platforms. The Apple and Google Play stores both offer the app for download.
