JUST IN: IPOB DENIES SIT-AT-HOME ACTION
DAMILOLA LAWRENCE
The Directorate of the State of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra wishes to inform the Biafra people, with special emphasis on those in Biafra’s home land, that the IPOB Leadership has neither called for nor mandated any civil action in Biafra-land in the form of SIT-AT-HOME from 9th to the 14th of December 2022.
This was confirmed in a Public Announcement made by Directorate of the state, Mazi Chika Edoziem, on Thursday 8th of December 2022.
He said, “Biafrans must be on high alert because we are at a critical juncture in our liberation struggle. We are aware that agents provocateurs on the payroll of the Nigerian government are working hard in collaboration with some Igbo politicians to thwart and sabotage the imminent release of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra.
“These are the people behind the criminal activities taking place in Biafra-land because their goal is to give Alhaji Malami, the AGF, and the Nigerian government a reason to continue illegally detaining Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, in violation of an Appeal Court order.”
The state’s Directorate hereby directs Biafra to carry on with their regular activities and business on the aforementioned dates.
“Contacts our Enquiry lines and report any person or group of persons molesting our people going about their business” he said.
