ADP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE AKIM YUSUF CONDOLES WITH VICTIMS OF TANKER FIRE ACCIDENT IN IBADAN
The Action Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Oyo state, Akim Yusuf (Omoluabi) mni. expressed his condolences to all the families of the victims of the tanker fire incident in Ibadan yesterday.
A tanker carrying fuel lost control and crashed into some shops opposite NNPC around Dogo area of Apata in Ibadan. It was reported that the fire outbreak affected several buildings in the area.
Yusuf’s statement reads; “I sincerely commiserate with all the families and individuals who lost loved ones in the unfortunate tanker fire incident at Apata, Ibadan yesterday. May God Almighty grant repose to the souls of the departed and console their families.
“To the citizens who lost various properties and businesses to the incident, I pray that the good Lord will grant recompense for their losses as they pick up the strength to restart their businesses and lives.
“Unfortunate accidents like this will occur once in a while, but our faith in our abilities to keep going strong and in the protection of the Almighty must not waiver so that we can bounce back from negative occurrences.
“God bless Oyo State and Nigeria, in general.”
