CHELSEA KEEPING TABS ON LUIS ENRIQUE AMID PRESSURE ON GRAHAM POTTER
Chelsea could reportedly make a move for former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique should they decide to fire current boss Graham porter.
According to Fichajes.net say that Chelsea have ‘meddled strongly’ with the idea of making a move for the head coach following Potter’s poor performance so far.
Despite the money spent by Chelsea since Todd Boehly took over – results have not improved under their current coach.
Fichajes state that it could be Enrique coaching the likes of big money signings Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk soon.
The former Spain boss – who has been away from club football since 2017 – has been out of a job since the 2022 World Cup – where his side crashed out in a penalty shootout defeat against Morocco.
The 52-year-old had a successful spell at the Catalan club and managed to lead the side to an impressive treble in 2015.
Potter’s side find themselves sitting in ninth place in the Premier League – 10 points off the Champions League spots and 20 points behind Arsenal in first.
