By Adeniyi Onaara
Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, will take first place in Saturday’s election, according to Sen. Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto North).
This information may be found in a statement made on Monday in Abuja by Dr. Danladi Bako, the chairman of the publicity committee for the APC’s governorship campaign in Sokoto State.
”
Sen. Aliyu Wammako, the leader of the APC and a former governor of the state, has reiterated that Tinubu will not only be elected president of the state on February 25 but also be elected on the first vote.
Wamakko, who was addressing journalists on Sunday in Sokoto, praised President Muhammadu Buhari for endorsing Tinubu for president while he was abroad in Addis Abeba, according to Bako.
He reported Wamakko as saying, “As we go closer to Saturday’s general elections, Buhari has not only demonstrated his adept leadership qualities but has also raised the ego of all APC members across the country.
Sen. Wamakko, who is also the APC senatorial candidate for Sokoto North, assured Nigerians that he would ensure that the party won the majority of seats in the House of Representatives in addition to his own seat.
By May 29th, 2023, the APC will occupy the Sokoto State Government House, he reiterated, Bako said.
Recall that last week, the APC had a highly effective presidential and governorship rally in the state.
