2023 ELECTIONS: Voter’s Report
At 8am this morning, a Police officer and APC Party representative were at the Polling Unit 24-13-06-080 ready to start the election process.
INEC officials arrived at 9am this morning to conduct the election process. After setting up the ballot boxes and the voting stand, the Presiding Officer signed in to the BVAS and voters confirmed that it had not been logged into prior to the election process starting.
After forming a queue at the Polling Unit, the accreditation process was to begin. INEC had informed us that BVAS takes 10 seconds to accredit a voter but this process took around 30 seconds to 2 minutes at most for some voters. After accreditation, ballot papers were passed to the voters and the votes were casted then put into the respective ballot boxes.
No seen violence in Polling Unit, no pressure to vote for a specific candidate.
