CARRYING PLACARDS AGAINST INEC IS A WASTE OF TIME – EX-EKITI GOVERNOR, FAYOSE

The former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has described the carrying  of placards against the Independent National Electoral Commission by some parties as a total waste of time.

The Former Governor mentioned this during an interview with Babajide Otitoloju of TVC on Tuesday, while he was analyzing the just concluded 2023 presidential election that was held on25th of February, 2023.

He also mentioned that the Peoples Democratic Party were looking for judges to grant them injunction to stop the electoral process on Monday, after some party agent stormed of the collation centre in Abuja.

He said, “The consequences of losing the election are too great for Dino. If you flog a child, he must cry. That’s what Dino is doing. Let’s not discuss him.

PDP was looking for judges who will grant them injunction to stop the electoral process yesterday, they are still running around now. Is that the party that Nigerians will trust again?, he asked.

Fayose also noted that all rally and protest about the 2023 Presidential election are sponsored by the PDP. He said, ” If you see any protest about this election, it is PDP that sponsors it. They were looking for people at Zuba to go and protest at the INEC office today.”

Meanwhile, he condemned Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on the role he played by asking for a cancellation the election. he said, “If I were Obasanjo, I will be playing with my grandchildren. I won’t be doing all these.”

He however, commended the former Governor of Lagos State, and also the APC Presedential candidate, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his loyalty to Nigerians.

While speakin on the INEC servers that has was switched, Fayose stated that the server was switched off for security reasons.
