LAGOS SCHOOL BUS FLIPS, INJURING KIDS
On Thursday in Lagos, a school bus carrying young children from one to five years old suffered a summersault, injuring the passengers.
The state’s Surulere region is where the accident happened.
A source who saw the collision claims that the bus with the license plate KTU-465DN struck a median barrier and then pulled off a piece of concrete holding a street light before summersaulting.
Kind individuals arrived quickly and transported the injured youngsters, along with a caretaker, to a nearby hospital.
The bus driver, who was hurt as well, reportedly left the area out of fear of a mob onslaught.
Doctors and other medical professionals at the hospital attended to the patients right away.
Sanusi Olatunbosun, a physician who was on duty, says “Seven people were in the school bus, three had serious injuries while four had minor injuries.”
All of the sufferers, according to him, received treatment and a two-hour observation period before being released.
He claimed that the hospital had anticipated financial assistance from the school.
They have all been released in good health and are all cognizant, he said.
Olatunbosun claimed that he gave the school the advice to instruct the parents of the kids to keep a tight eye on them and report any symptoms, such as weakness, dizziness, or oversleeping.
To help with traffic, some kids at the accident moved the school bus out of the middle of the road.
Personnel from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency arrived at the scene of the collision to control traffic.
