Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State and his convoy were involved in an accident this morning.
Two policemen and a nephew of the governor have been confirmed dead while three other persons are injured.
The injured have been taken to the Malumfashi General Hospital.
Governor Masari is reported to be unhurt from the accident.
