APC SUPPORT GROUPS: NCASG HOLDS GENERAL MEETING, DECLARES ITS INTENTION IN GOVERNANCE

A National Coalition for All Support Groups (NCASG), the umbrella body for all support groups for President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Lagos State has announced its intention to be part of governance.
Leader of the group and Director General, Hon. Akintola Oluwasayo, disclosed this on Sunday during a general meeting in Ikeja, insisting that the group had been working day and night to ensure victory of the president-elect which has come into actualization.
He also mentioned that the while some members are clamoring to be a part of the government, the group meeting would be moved to Abuja.
Hon. Akintola also commended the president-elect on the success while describing him as an ambassador who would correct the mistakes of a ‘Use and Dump’ of all politician.
He said, ” Tinubu/Shettima is a sure mandate because, they are not only going to be president and vice-president of this country but they are going to be the best presidential team in Africa.”
Akintola however, stated that supporters should put their minds at rest because, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s reward system is handsome.
“The general meeting will enable us generate a fund raising alert, to prepare ahead for the president-elect’s inauguration coming up on May 29, 2023 in Abuja. Apart from the fundraising, we need to plan to get buses and accomodation for those that will be traveling down from a long distance.”
Eta-Iyalode Kemi Kalejaiye, a national delegate from the United Kingdom, while speaking during the meeting, implored all members to always appreciate themselves and also pray for the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
She also gave kudos to everyone that travelled down especially those from the South-East. In all, she commended the DG for his resilience and leadership while, describing him as a ‘rare gem’.
Eta-Iyalode also mentioned that members should keep focusing on the agenda of the groups and also to continue and support Hon. Oluwasayo.
Meanwhile, a representative of the Disability Committee, urged the group to carry the disability community along in everything because they also want to take part.
Hon. Adeyinka Adegbuyi, a member of the group while speaking with Hotjist.com, said that if not for the power of the support groups, they might not be able to achieve all that it has done to correct all blasphemous misinformation and all the fake news that were brought up as a challenge by various opposition parties.
“The support group was not only on the media but very mighty in the impact it made.”
Adegbuyi however, challenged all support group members to remain steadfast as they are all running the group together.
“NCASG is going to go far with this government of Bola Tinubu/Shettima and we will work together to get a better Nigeria because we are ambassadors of a good Nigeria.” He noted.
