BUHARI SET TO BEGIN EIGHT-DAY VISIT TO SAUDI ARABIA ON TUESDAY

On Tuesday morning, President Muhammadu Buhari will go to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for an eight-day state visit. While there, he plans to do Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage.

“Buhari will travel to Saudi Arabia on an official visit from Tuesday, April 11 to 19 on his last trip to the Kingdom as President, during which he will perform Umrah, the Lesser Pilgrimage,” a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, read on Monday evening.

Shehu claimed the President will be joined by his advisers in the statement headlined, “President Buhari leaves for Saudi Arabia on an official visit.”

His sixth and final trip to the Kingdom since taking office in May 2015 is this one.

The United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and France top the frequency chart out of the more than 40 nations Buhari has traveled to as president.

Additionally, he has made five trips to Ethiopia and three each to the United Arab Emirates, Ghana, Niger, and Senegal.
