BREAKING: BUHARI DEPARTS EAGLE SQUARE AFTER HANDING OVER TO TINUBU
Former President Muhammadu Buhari departs eagle Square after handing over power to new President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Buhari’s departure now means Tinubu has taken charge of the event.
The former President is expected to go back to him home town of Daura with his family.
Buhari leaves office after serving a two-term of 4 years in the Aso Rock Villa after emerging the winner of the 2015 and 2019 presidential elections.
Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, Nigeria’s Chief Justice, administered the oaths of office to Tinubu as the country’s 16th president and Kashim Shettima as its 15th vice president.
